1212 MLK Apartments, located in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, provides affordable rental housing for working families, homeless families, and adults with developmental disabilities. This project marks Dunn Development Corp.'s expanded use of environmentally conscious technologies and is the first multifamily high-rise building in the country to receive the Energy Star label. High-performance energy-efficient specifications were used for all building systems and fixtures and green building products were used extensively.
